1. Besan Ka Chilla

 

Besan ka chilla Ingredients:

1 cup Besan (Gram Flour)
1/2 Cup Water
¼ Cup Chopped Onion
¼ Cup Chopped Tomatoes
Rock Salt
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Ginger Paste
¼ Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
1/2 Cup Curd

 

Directions:

  1. It would help if you whisked begin to mix everything. If the batter looks thick, add 1 to 3 Tbsp more water as per the requirement of the batter’s thickness.
  2. The next step is to Heat a Tawa on a low flame, then spread a bit of Mustard oil on the Tawa. After that, take a ladle full of the batter and pour on the pan.

1/2 Cup Brown rice
1 Tsp Cow Ghee
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds

1/2 Tsp Hing
2 Tbsp Peanuts

 

Directions:

  1. Cook the Brown Rice.
  2. Place a pan on medium heat and add some ghee; add mustard seeds, peanuts,  curry leaves, Turmeric, Rock Salt, hing.
  3. Take some Tamarind in Hot water and squeeze it to make a thick paste. After that, it passes through a filter, removes the stones and pulp.
  4. Mix the Brown Rice, mixture, and tamarind all together.

 

3. Almonds, Banana, Warm Milk

 

Almonds Banana MilkIngredients:

4-5 Soaked Almonds
1-2 Banana’s
1 Cup Warm Milk

½ Cup of Brown rice
½ Cup Yogurt
Some Mustard Oil
½ Tsp Mustard Seeds
½ Tsp Cumin Seeds
5-6 Curry Leaves
Pinch of Hing
Rock Salt to Taste

 

Directions:

  1. Cook the rice and place aside, Once the rice is cooked, mash it a little using a masher. Add in the whisked yogurt and milk and mix to combine tempering/tadka.

 

6. Ragi Malt

 

Ragi MaltIngredients:

3-4 Tsp Ragi Flour
Rock Salt to Taste
50 g Curd
1 Tsp Lemon Juice

 

 

 

Directions:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients.

 

7. Cashew Upma

 

Cashew UpmaIngredients:

1 Tbsp Cow Ghee
½ Tsp Cumin Seeds
Grated Ginger
4-5 Curry Leaves
Chopped Onions
Chopped Tomatoes
½ Tsp Turmeric Powder

8-9 Cashews
½ Cup Broken Wheat/Upma
½ Cup of Water

Directions:

  1. Heat the pan with cow ghee, saute the above spices, add Chopped onions, tomatoes and add broken wheat with water and cook it.
